30年前？ 那可是82年啊！ 我头一次听是89年。当时LD去进修英语，带回英语歌一盘磁带，有很多是奥斯卡获奖歌曲。

大约86年左右吧，她好像是82年死于厌食症。

喜欢听 Carpenters 的歌。

   好歌，听过多次，都是在美国听的，不过不知道歌手的故事。

真是红颜命短,非常有才的歌星.  她的带有磁性的歌声特别体现在这首歌的第一句"When I was young
I'd listen to the radio".... 好像略带点鼻音的拐弯....

有共鸣，我听到这歌是一个杂盘，还有约翰丹佛的。记得那盘子里第一首是“Kiss me another, kiss me another again"， 还有“单程票”， 包括这一首。来到米国后专门看过木匠兄妹的乡村歌曲介绍。那时英文还很差劲，苦于应付学校的课程，后来没有怎么追踪。谢谢分享。
