Bruce 16 hours ago Report Abuse I lived in China last year- what a difference! It doesnt take long to say why these people are thriving while we are losing our shirts....
1. They stick together. Family members help each other financially. They take care of their elders. When one family member wants to start a business, they all pich in- even cousins and second cousins!
2. They save and pay cash. Credit card companies have had a tough sell in china.
3. They live within their means.
4. They are not slaves to possessions- unlike here, where you are a complete and total LOSER if you don't have the latest Apple product, Gucci bag, Louis Vuitton luggage, etc. (all bought on a credit card, of course.
5. They don't buy brand-new Infiniti G35s, Audi A4s, or BMW 3-series (and the $600 month car payments that go with them) the day that they graduate from college.
When we follow suit, we will ALL be better off.....

USnearBK 15 hours ago Report Abuse YOU ARE 100% ACCURATE and TRUTHFUL.
Families step up and help one another.
They help raise each other's kids= Kinship.
They value education and hard work.
They tend to be more thrifty than not.
They understand the importance of savings, and saving for rainy days.
They would love to live like Americns n Europeans BUT they know they can't afford it.
BRUCE, I hope they don't tell you "why don't you go live over there and don't come back! "
Your ernest advise and sincereness could be rejected by self centered and intolerant Americans.

Ben 13 hours ago Report Abuse I agree Bruce, i have spent some time in China myself (found my wonderful wife there), and have seen some core qualities that americans seem to lack these days. Family values, financial responsibility, personal responsibility, basic morality.

terry 12 hours ago Report Abuse You painted like it’s a normal good country. You just haven't seen their ugly side. How corrupt their government is, how suppressive their society is, how poor 80% of the regular people are....

TWITAB 9 hours ago Report Abuse I spent five years working in China and believe me, their ugly side is nothing like the ugly side we have here in America now.

MRD 7 hours ago Report Abuse The ugly side is that they are communists with no freedom of rights, perhaps all those in favor of that should move there.

Shawn Mao 1 hour ago Report Abuse If you define China by Communist, then the difinition of Communist is very very different than before....Or this Communist is not easily recognizable by Chairman Mao. Or what I want to say is that you may not know China at all if you call it a Communism counrty to define it.

pete g 39 minutes ago Report Abuse Our children go to college and start life off in debt. They learn from that point that debt is ok. I for one will hope my son will stay at home until he can afford to buy his own place in cash. The kids coming up today are going to have much more problems buying a house. Most of the kids on my street age from 4-9 years of age and i`m thinking most of them will be living at home right into the late 20`s at least.
